As a Business Services Manager at Alexander Spencer, I work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive proactive and practical business advice. My role involves overseeing compliance, identifying tax and business efficiencies, and mentoring accountants within my team. With over a decade at Alexander Spencer, I’ve developed a direct yet supportive approach - whether it’s helping clients understand their tax obligations or guiding my team towards professional growth.

I believe in cutting through complexity and getting to the point. Clients appreciate my straightforward communication style, particularly when tackling difficult financial conversations. My philosophy is simple: be upfront about the numbers, address challenges head-on, and work collaboratively to find solutions.

Outside of work, I have a strong interest in strategy - whether in business or in my hobbies. I’m an avid board gamer, a long-time field hockey player, and a collector of Magic: The Gathering. My experience as a treasurer in my hockey club, where I helped change its financial position through digitalisation and strong financial management, reinforced my faith in the power of structure, foresight, and timely decision-making - principles I apply every day in my professional life.
